Pastor Jimmy and Donna joined us in March of 2018. They have been married for 31 years and have 3 adult children, one daughter-in-law and two precious granddaughters. One of their greatest blessings has been serving in the ministry as a family. Before coming to Hartselle, they served as Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor in Butler, Alabama for 18 years. Pastor Jimmy and Donna encountered the transforming power of Jesus Christ as teenagers, then began a life-changing journey of serving Him. Their passion is for others to experience that same life-changing power of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the same freedom found in His love. Through discipleship and outreach, their vision is to build believers that will leave a legacy for Christ for generations to come. They are excited to see how God will use HFA Church to make a lasting impact in this community and the surrounding areas.

Pastor Joseph has served as the Youth Pastor at HFA since 2019. Prior to coming to HFA he also served in various other ministries including worship and college and young adults. He leads Legacy Youth Ministries and serves to equip a generation of students to become leaders and disciple makers. He enjoys music, baseball, golf, outdoors, and reading.

Kayla Steele grew up in Priceville, Alabama and graduated from Priceville High School in 2006.  She moved to Hartselle and went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Education from Athens University in 2011.  She has attended Hartselle First Assembly for most of her life, and in 2012 began to feel that God was leading her into children’s ministry.  Kayla became HFA Kids pastor in 2012 while working part time as a preschool teacher.  In June of 2019, Kayla began children’s ministry full time.  She has a passion to share Christ’s love with the younger generation, and absolutely loves spending time with children.  Kayla has been married to Brad Steele since 2015.  They have three beautiful children, Rylee, Rory and Collier.  Kayla is so thankful for the opportunity God has given her to serve HFA Church and the Hartselle Community.

Taylor Mathias is a native of Hartselle, AL. She is married to Blake Mathias and they have two small children. One of her most treasured blessings is to be able to serve as the worship leader at HFA, where she has attended since she was four years old. She experienced salvation at 10 years old and started singing specials in the church at 14 years old.

She has a passion to lead people into God's presence through praise and worship. She truly believes that as we praise and worship God, He brings freedom, restoration, healing and salvation. Taylor is thankful for the wonderful Worship Team God has provided at HFA Church. She looks forward to what God has in store each week for the people at HFA.
